As America grapples with an escalating plastic crisis, the city of Houston, ExxonMobil, and other partners announced a new program that promised to recycle nearly all of the city’s plastic waste. However, after two years, the program has yet to fully materialize.

I picture that huge warehouse turning into another Amazon facility, rather than an actual recycling plant.

They are low-information ads which avoid making much in the way of falsifiable claims while providing a very poor characterization of the issue at the same time.
