I have to ask if you are still doing these things, or what worked and what didn't. I know that I have had failures when I cut back (just like you, I pay the minimum water bill every month, and can't get it lower by using less water).
And thanks for posting here. This group gets so little attention, and I love hearing from people who are living frugally, and how they are doing it.

At least not to the extreme I was. There'd be no way she'd tolerate setting the t-stat down to 55 during the winter and such! I've thought about writing a post about what I thought worked, what wasn't worth the effort, what I had said I'd try to do but didn't and about what I still would like to try.
