Gang filmed themselves throwing cat over bridge on Snapchat.... (Graphic Content)

A laughing gang filmed themselves throwing a cat off a bridge and then shared the footage on Snapchat.
The video caused uproar with claims it is not the first time cats have been thrown from the footbridge in St. Johns.
Richard Udall, Worcester City councilor for St. Johns, informed the police of the video and has demanded action against those involved. He said: "A number of people shared their suspicions that there were some people throwing cats over a bridge.
On Sunday morning, someone called me and said they had a video of some people throwing a cat into the Laugherne Brook.
The video was very graphic and horrible to watch and there's no indication as to whether the cat survived."
The Snapchat video, seen by Worcester News, shows a cat in distress carried by one of the group.
The teen then throws it over the barrier of the bridge on Meco Alley, near Greenacres Road, while others can be heard laughing in the background.

The big question is, (assuming they are found guilty), what happens next?
Will they get a "slap on the wrist," community service, or will they get actual jail time (Juvenile Detention)?
(My hope is the latter, along with many months of psychological counseling)
