I don't think we'll have to wait that long, Putin's hirings and firings are getting erratic. His regime is developing some pretty large cracks these days and if there's one thing common to dictatorships, it's that they tend to be brittle. There's no guarantee the next Czar appointed by the unofficial Politburo will be any better.
