Russian Ruble Meltdown - Joe Blogs

In this video I discuss the continuing decline in value of the Russian Ruble which has fallen at an accelerating rate over the past 2 weeks and is now trading at an all time low. It appears that the Bank of Russia has stopped supporting the value and this raises the question as to how low the value will fall to.

Earlier it took 113 rubles to equal a dollar. So it’s even dropped some since then.

Side note: I see Russia sent North Korea 70 zoo animals. Also earlier in the year Russia sent food to North Korea in exchange for ammunition. Even the North Koreans don’t seem to like the Russian ruble.

Said Russians were lining up to exchange rubles for dollars but selling was suspended. I don’t know how long that lasted. The exchange rate was even a lot higher than what it should have been going for. People were willing to take a big loss just to got out of their rubles.
