"Terminator" in the Armed Forces of Ukraine? Ukraine wants to send humanoid robots to the front - UATV English

Humanoid robots, which until recently seemed like science fiction, are gradually becoming part of modern warfare. In Ukraine, a competition has been announced to create a humanoid drone for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — a project that could radically change the way combat missions are carried out in the future.

How real are combat robots, what functions will they be able to perform on the battlefield, and is the era approaching when technologies like the “Terminator” become a military reality? We explore the prospects of Ukrainian developments.

But they're on our side, right? I want to save soldiers' lives, but it just seems so much easier to kill people this way. Easier on the conscience. And so often these things get turned around on the people who built them. Maybe we won't make it long enough for that to evolve. We've got two people who have access to vast nuclear arsenals and they're both malignant narcissists and they both don't want the world to go on without them. What's happened in the past is a calamity happens and only a few people survive. And tomorrow we celebrate blowing things up.
