Should DU have a forum or thread 'Preparing for a Fascist Takeover' or similar? There would be a lot to think about and "what if's" to plan for. If the orange one declares martial law and suspends the constitution things will get dark and ugly fast. At the very least now is the time to maybe start stocking up on supplies, (TP, ammo, booze, smokes, canned goods, etc.)

Start putting some cash away in a drawer. Don't wait till the last minute to go to the ATM.

...a DU thread that is rational and not prepper-fringe-nutso, and that discusses the potential options people should consider if the worst happens, would be a good idea.

I admit that I am already thinking along those lines myself.
