What ever happened to Delmart Vreeland?

Remember him? I was commenting on another thread today about an OWS story posted about a guy named Jay Polk who was supposedly killed on a secret Spec Ops mission in Syria. Turns out to be complete BS. In the OP, there was a link to his FB page. Reading it, I thought about the story of Delmart, the supposed ON! agent who had pre-knowledge of 9/11. I realized that I hadn't heard anything about the guy in years, so I Googled his name and checked the Wikipedia page. Now I know why (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delmart_Vreeland) -

In 2008, Vreeland was sentenced in Colorado to 336 years to life in prison after he was convicted of inducement of child prostitution, sexual assault, sexual exploitation of children and distribution of cocaine following his luring of two boys to perform sexual acts on-camera in exchange for cocaine, money and the promise of a drum kit.[3]

The linked news report had very little detail about the charges/trial or anything that could shed more info on this. What struck me as strange is the # years he got sentenced to...is this typical for these kinds of crimes? I searched around trying to see what the typical sentences are in child prostitution, i found this at http://sex-crimes.laws.com/molestation/sentencing-and-punishment

A sex crime regarding the molestation of children ages 0-10 years old can result in twenty five years of imprisonment.

Molestation that is pressured is punishable up to fourteen years. When this same sex crime is committed on a minor between the years of 0-10 the prison time can amount to a maximum of twenty years.

Abusers that commit molestation in which a victim is not touched but still violated, they may face a maximum sentence of up to eighteen years in jail. This includes nudity, inappropriate actions, and alike. This type of offense also carries stipulations based on age. If the victim is in the age range of 0-16, the consequences are surprisingly lower. If the offense is violent however, the consequences are higher.

In the case of a sex crime in which a victim is threatened and sexual intercourse was attempted against them, the consequences can result in a lifetime prison sentence. t

So these punishments can be life sentences...but 336 years seems to be the longest sentence I've ever heard someone being sentenced to.

"Let one happen. Stop the rest!!!" Did he just get lucky with his crystal ball?

That is interesting. Wonder if he got put away to shut him up?

Sometimes I wonder about the "American Talban" kid, John Walker Lynd? Bet he had no clue 9/11 was happening. And he got life, too. Poor Fucker.

...he was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison, and will probable serve about 17 years.

Just type "John Walker Lindh sentence" into Google.

I really did wonder. Poor kid, wrong place, wrong time. Wonder about the whole story, to this day.

...most of us don't make quite such bizarre choices, and most of us don't pay so dearly for the stupid things we did in our youth.

I hope he is able to resume a somewhat normal and happy life. I can't get too worked up about the sentence, especially considering the climate at the time -- but still, yes I agree, poor kid, wrong place, wrong time.

Some great stuff in those threads!

"This man is the same man who tried to get the word
out about 9-11.
He was most recently trying to get the word out about
another attack.
He knows- he has documents.
Please do not probe me further on how I got that
information.
Twin Towers...twin ------.
Figure it out and hope he is wrong."
