Is there a difference in the way the Pfizer and the Moderna vaccines are administered?

We have seen photos of the Pfizer as a shot to the upper arm, like a flu vaccine.

But a photo of the Moderna, below, looks like infusing into a vein, with one of those rubber bands tightening it.



My veins are not accessible. When I need to have blood withdrawn, they go to the back of my hand..

But interesting aside: TN will be providing mostly .oderna vaccines. (As I expected. Must be more $ in it for repukes.)

I will travel, if necessary, to get the Pfizer vax.
