While new cases have been worse, the death numbers continue to get worse and will likely continue to. And the new infections will no doubt be going up.

The numbers are increasing so fast that I fear it is due to the mutated variety's unknown presence.

holiday gatherings, and next New Year's eve, with too many carrying on as if there is no pandemic?

The overall IQ of the US must has dropped 20 points over the past 4 years.
