And the Low Carb diet is much closer to the Mediteranian diet than Low Fat....so I think this is BULLSHIT. ...all I would need to do is add beans, whole grains and more fruits and I would be Mediterranian.....

(6,666 posts)And unless I'm imagining things, that's exactly what the guy said. Personally, I've always followed a Mediterranean diet, even before it was popular, and my labs have always been spectacular. I was not saying I believed he was correct. I was simply summarizing the video.

(416 posts)Amy plan hat I just easily switch over to mediteranian from Keto.....which is simply a Modified Atkins diet.
And it said flat out that it's heavily skewed by the fact there I no Double Blind. And not nearly as many low carb clinical trials...
In the past we just did not eat the amount of Carb we eat today. And they have genetically have turned our fruit into essentially candy.....because sugar of any kind is addictive

The unattainable ends never justify the unworkable means. That goes as much for diet as anything else.
