(35,392 posts)I have non diabetic neuropathy. My father had it and my brother also have it. I get some relief from an over the counter med, Nervive.
See a neurologist.

(57,702 posts)My wife has suffered from it for 20 years.
Restless Legs Syndrome has been around forever, but only recently acknowledged as a medical problem. Probably because 90% of victims are women. My wife got it after her first cancer surgery, and it hasn’t gone away. That was 22 years ago. It can be controlled with medication. My wife says that without medication, she would have jumped out of a tenth story window years ago, and without even asking Putin’s help. There is no known treatment or cure.
If you have it, you can’t lay down or even comfortably sit for any period of time, no matter how tired you are. She likens it to a well-designed torture tactic that the Stasi might have dreamed up. I hope for you that what you have is something else.

(39,426 posts)Also try to do some exercises before bed that help with circulation in your legs. Toe raises to get blood into your calves & feet. But don't wait on the doctor!! I have a small clot in my calf & I went from easily walking miles, literally, to barely being able to walk 2 minutes cuz my leg felt so tired. It's taken me a year to work back to 30 minutes of walking.
Good luck.

(33,227 posts)going through some stuff that’s stressing me out. Got blood drawn to see if I’m low on vitamin B12 or anything else that might be causing the tingling. So, hopefully that’s all it is and I can handle or deal with it better. Thanks.
