New executive order as of 2/19/25

Among other things, it eliminates the Department of Health and Human Services Advisory Committee on Long COVID as part of Trump's efforts to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse from the federal government.

As somebody who has had long covid since March 2020, I am entirely accustomed to being disappointed and isolated, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised by this. Add it to the list of bs we all have to deal with.

Like Climate Change, Long Covid is also a hoax ?

At this point , it's hard to not sink into despair

3. It is about killing off those they consider "weak" and unworthy of life.

Both Trump and Musk have convinced themselves that they and their favorite billionaires are genetically superior to the rest of us and should get to decide who should live and who should die.

Their actions make this very obvious. The stages:

1. Cut the safety net
2. See who is hurt worst
3. Cut those people off even more.
4. Wait for the deaths and suicides.
5. Round up those who survive it for extermination.
6. Find the next group to attack.
7. Go back to 1.

I think we are at step 1, heading into step 2.
