(20,856 posts)He signed the contract. He wasn't a kid. The show started in 2003 and he was 29 or 30 years old. In the third year of the show, he left, probably about the time Viacom was getting some significant ad revenue. So they decided to stream it on Netflix, which they were allowed to do, per Chappelle's contract with Viacom. But Dave has his feelings hurt because Viacom didn't ask him first? Dave's getting $20 Million per comedy special from Netflix. Viacom doesn't owe him shit.
