Watched a documentary on Netflix last night

The Last Days. It was a first hand account of Hungarian
Jews from Nazi concentration camps. It is hard to believe that civilised people could do those things. The one women said the Nazies took over her village with two SS men on motor cycles. People she knew all of her life in the town turned on the Jewish population overnight. Very disturbing films from Auswitz and other camps. It got me thinking that Trump people are actually capable of the same thing.

1. Even a few months ago I would have said "No chance". Now I'm afraid that I believe it could happen

here and we would have a hard time fighting it. I have to keep the faith that we will be able to bring things back to a relatively safe time for most people. No, I'm not crazy enough to believe it will ever be completely safe again. At least not for a very long time. As long as Capitalism is in the hands of mostly white people it will be used to control those who aren't as well as those they deem inferior. Yeah, being part of history can be unsettling at best.

On edit. My Dad saw the camps in 1945 as a early 20's GI. He made sure his children knew and understood exactly what he saw. His children did the same with their children. Never, ever forget.

some are just totally insane. I see some houses with 10 or more Trump flags on their porch and yard another flag I have been seeing
more and more of is Fuck Biden. We couldn't stand Trump but I never saw shrines built to Biden or Hillary or one damn Fuck Trump flag.
These people are just anti American scum. There is a guy that set up a tent in an empty lot selling Back the Blue, Fuck Biden and Trump 2024 flags. After January 6th they claim to back the Blue.
