(26,773 posts)thank you, thank you for letting me know about it. I'm signed up and will watch Abe & Phil's Last Poker Game in the next day or two.
There seems to be a limit of five a month, but that will not be a hardship.
I am a huge fan of the public library. A while back, when I was more affluent, I got into the habit of purchasing most of my books. Then my marriage came to an end, I relocated halfway across the country, had far less money and rediscovered the joys of the public library. These days the vast majority of the books I read come from the library. What my local library doesn't have on the shelf I can usually get with interlibrary loan. Double my library taxes! I would not mind.
Again, many, many thanks for letting me know about this. There are so many semi-obscure things on the internet, and this (at least to me) is one of them. I am so often grateful to DU for informing me about various things, and this is a classic example.

(24,141 posts)The service also provides ebooks, magazines and a ton of other stuff. Also look into Hoopla.com through the library. Ours offers 10 movies a month, plus all sorts of other stuff. Again, ebooks, magazines, etc. Enjoy!!!
