John of God on Netflix. It was triggering to me and also amazing that this

went on for so many years. Also some famous people like Oprah and Wayne Dyer, (I think Dyer) went there.

I like watching documentaries on cults but this is not just a cult. This guy was the personification of evil. I ended up yelling at the TV and felt very violent, like I wanted to beat this guy up.

because of an eye problem I was having. It was a big set up with many assistants but I knew pretty much right from the start that it wasn't going to do much for me because it was all wrapped in Catholic symbolism and prayers in a kind of suffocating way. Then I was one of the ones chosen to have a moment with him where he sort of hits you in the forehead in a 'gesture' of healing. It was a nice day with my brother. I later read he was a terrible sexual predator of the most hideous sort.
