Finally got around to watching "The Norsemen"

Just finished the second episode. Pretty funny and off the wall show.

1. I thought it was hilarious, kind of like Monty Python with Vikings.

Some of the actors are well-known in movies and TV in Norway - since I'm into Scandinavian mystery shows on Netflix and Amazon I recognized several of them. Interestingly, each scene was filmed twice, once in Norwegian for domestic consumption and once in English for the BBC and international distribution.

2. Such a good show.

Modern day people set in the 9th century.

One of my favorites. Who knew Norwegians could be funny? Which is why I thoroughly enjoyed Lillihammer so much.

4. The dialogue is bril!

As the Brits would say!

5. Norwegians can be very funny, but it tends to be dry, deadpan humor

and it's often dark and edgy. Norsemen is pretty typical.
