I would have watched it anyway because J.K. Simmons is in it but with the review I will look for it and watch it rather than stumbling on it one day. I am so glad he has become a "name". I used to see him and think, "Oh I love this guy. This will at least be a good movie when he is in it." I used to think the same thing about Chris Cooper but he finally became a bigger name too.

Thanks for your reviews. I look through them when I am looking for something other than the popular, newer movies. Deep dives confuse me so I go to your site. I do not know if my library supports Kanopy, it does Hoopla though so I will look there or just put it on a list.

5. re Chris Cooper

He's always been one of my favorite actors. It was shameful that he wasn't even nominated for best actor for Breach, in which he played CIA double agent Robert Hansen. What a stunning performance.

(Actually, he did have a win for Breach: he won best actor from the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards.)
