Do you watch "old" television shows that you've watched in the past?
If so, which ones?
Edit: I've rewatched L O S T, X-Files, and lots of Law and Order

(5,187 posts)I've watched Breaking Bad 3 times.
I've watched West Wing probably 4 times (it's my wife's comfort show when US politics are in the shitter)
I'm rewatching Psych right now.

(38,088 posts)Is a leftie, as I am sure you know. He used to go to the same coffee shop I went to. Many times I would see him outside the shop, reading the paper and having his coffee--and vice versa. He was always very friendly and had a smile.
He did that crime show for a long time but do you know he quit because he didn't like how the plot always involved killing women?

(71,910 posts)its 10 seasons. did he leave b4 the end?
not surprised hes a down to earth guy, nor surprised hed object. that is a thing about all the murder shows. and since its about psychos, its usually sexual.
and that is the sort of thing that leads me to usually shy away from popular tv.

(38,088 posts)Yes, he did leave before the 10th season. It was actually early in the series--I think around the 3rd season. He said the series took a toll on his mind and soul.
He didn't know it was going to be the same ole same ole every week. Kinda' sick that this is what sells.

(18,017 posts)Previously rewatched X-Files with her (again her first time through).
Wish I had gotten to the remastered Babylon 5 in before they pulled it off HBO Max. Can't stand the Tubi commercials. I might need to purchase it through Amazon.
Watch selective Star Trek: TNG shows (did a couple while watching Picard Season 3).
In general I don't rewatch television shows unless I can share the experience with my daughter who loves SF/Horror/Fantasy/Super Heroes like me.
Used to rewatch lots of Law & Order, but don't do that anymore. I can't even keep up with the new stuff that interests me (still haven't got through Andor of Mando Season 3).
Watched The Lone Ranger origin story on Amazon Best Westerns. It is actually very good. I keep thinking about my dad as an eight year old boy watching it. I never watched very many of them as a kid, and I am sure I never watched the origin episodes. Wish my dad was still alive to watch them with him.

(34,991 posts)The original. Im at the point now where I see the opening scene and I know which show it is.

(7,492 posts)Right now I am happily watching Bewitched and Emergency (from the 1970s). Love seeing Samantha go through the changing fashions (1960s - 1970s). Emergency gives me 1970s fashion. Happy to say we did survive the 70s style.

(5,727 posts)Black Sheep Squadron, Rat Patrol and others. The Heroes and Icons channel is available over the air, and runs one episode of each Star Trek series six nights a week.
I sometimes catch old Johnny Carson shows, or Carol Burnett, and I've seen Dick van Dyke shows on Sunday nights on ME TV.
