In case you need a fun escape for a couple hours today
I had forgotten Shannen Doherty was in one of my favorite movies when I was kid:
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Haven’t seen this movie since the last time Mom let me rent it from Video Den, for probably the 12th time, back in middle school.
It’s so perfectly 80’s: teenagers, a tv dance contest, crushes, coming of age, suburbia, all that stuff. Helen Hunt, Sarah Jessica Parker and a few others who went on to become big stars are in it.
I need a break from the madness today. Gimme some 80’s cheese and dancing!
