TV shows I watch to avoid Legacy TV tRump chatter...
I have YouTube TV and a good variety of TV apps....Prime, Netflix, Paramount Plus, Peacock, Disney Plus...I always flip the channel when he is on if I'm on MSNBC,..
I also live I Ohio with massive, abusive Bernie Moreno ads against Sherrod Brown and live about 18 miles from Springfield, Ohio...what a mess I live round...
So, what do I gravitate in TV programming...
Anything Star Trek; Supernatural, Lucifer, NCIS New Orleans, Stargate, some Food Network actual cooking shows not playing with food; Tastemade and then general You Tube mews sites and podcasts...
I like YouTube Psychic readers....Linda G and Sterling are my favorites.
What do you guys watch?

(27,578 posts)I have Netflix, Prime Video, and Hulu. Outside of those, I dont pay for anything else. During the covid lockdown and a well-deserved sabbatical, I watched just about every single old TV show I ever had the desire to see.

(18,290 posts)..and cancelled all newspapers. I watched all the stuff i had never had an interest in..all the westerns, gunsmoke, wagon train,..blah.
Im back on news now but try to get in some streaming podcasts cuz my Gen Z grand daughters said the kids get their news that way.
But I try to stay off news 24/7 like I used to be....SO I binge BONES....and ive finished Kims Convenience, all the British Baking Shows, MidSommer Murders ( actually a lot of the detective shows on Acorn), anything with Martin Clune and of course Ozzie and Harriet is always on somewhere.
Also Tacoma FD is really funny!

Both are on the sub optimal prime
Good luck keeping your balance with all of that. I dont think my TV would make it through any of it.

(50 posts)I get off the couch and to my local Barnes & Noble. There's one within walking distance to my home. I walk the shelfs. It's invigorating and reassuring to see how much human knowledge and insight and perspective is right there, still available.
Right now I'm reading Long Island, the sequel to Brooklyn. Yep, they made Brooklyn into a movie.
Of course, this doesn't mean that I don't indulge. I like to stream HBO series -- The Sopranos, My Brilliant Friend, White Lotus...

I haven't watched tv for years. I mainly watch movies. So there are a bunch of shows I've never seen. Lately it's "Monk" "Grace & Frankie" "Corner Gas" "Gilmore Girls" and Outnumbered". Other sweet shows are "Detectorists" and"Raising Hope". And I almost forgot one of the funniest shows ever: "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

(47,553 posts)It's extremely creative. I don't believe some of the stuff they've done, like having the woman protagonist murder someone. I don't think that's a spoiler.
A friend tells me they've made a season 4, which is only fair, given the way they left season 3. I don't see it on Netflix yet, but I hope it shows up.
