Anyone see "Heretic" with Hugh Grant?
Wow, that was one creepy movie. The ending was a little disappointing to me. But overall, pretty darn scary.
It's on HBO/Max

(5,032 posts)I don't know what happened to me, but now I just can't tolerate being that scared.

(25,004 posts)I never watched horror movies before. But a couple years ago I started watching them for some reason, and I now enjoy them. More thrillers and creepy movies, and less on the slasher/bloody ones. But I don't mind the well done scary flicks.

I think it is important to not beat the message into your head. You can walk out of both movies thinking intelligently about controversial issues irrespective of where you come down on them.
Hugh Grant is a treasure, and I expect to see the two young actresses in future movies.

(1,353 posts)The very dialogue heavy first half was more interesting to me than the horror film trope driven second half. Hugh Grant playing against type was the best part of the film.
