Finally discovered this show. All I can say is what took me so long? If you haven’t seen it, trust me it is great!

..I started binge watching Halt and Catch Fire as well...then quit.. so thats another one well worth it.

7. You'll see Trump on the TV News running for office and a China Connection...

...remember he owes millions to Chinese Banks. There's some talk of ruskies in the series too regarding the run up to the election of 2016 so 2015 time frame. Don't forget the American oligarchs in Evil Corp, and so much symbolism that keeps your eyes glued to the series. If someone wanted to depict anarchists, it would be the all dressed in black group rioting. I thought this series was ahead of it's time. Circumstances are not all the same but many parallels. Surreal and Deep Thinking goes into this series to really appreciate it! I think we all have an element of Elliot in us in this series!

8. Yeah, it is like a combo of Fight Club and Breaking Bad and something else.

ok something else: Black Mirror/or Utopia. My fav. tv. I love how we are experiencing/viewing the series events through Elliot who is schizophrenic. The casting is amazing. Rami Malek, Grace Gummer (I am loving everything I see her in!), Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday and Carly Chalkin (Suburgatory), B.D.Wong (Gotham). Sam Esmail is a wizard and his music is in it-- so tonal -makes it all surreal as if you, yourself were having a psychotic break. The music is amazeballs and I even made a playlist.

It's pretty excellent for 4 seasons ... if I were you I'd just stop watching at the end of Season 4 and resolve yourself that the many mysteries that will remain unsolved at that point will simply never be explained.

The show is better that way quite honestly.

You probably won't be able to though, just out of sheer curiosity.
