ISH....anyone have, or know of anyone who has isolated systolic hypertension?

Would love to know type of treatment, and any other information
that you would like to share. Thanks......z

The problem is that most of the medications we have will also lower the diastolic pressure, something that can't be done safely with ISH.

There is some evidence that the diuretic aldosterone interferes with plaque buildup and will prevent it from getting worse while slightly lowering blood pressure.

As yet, there is no magic bullet.
