(31,479 posts)I am scared to death, not so much of the procedure, but of what they may find.

(31,479 posts)They let me come home after the procedure. This is the second time they have removed fluid.
After the first time, they told me I was cancer free. I am seeing a different pulmonologist, and I have more faith in him. I won't see him about results until the 6th. He will be gone for awhile. I am more worried abut results than the test itself. I am afraid they will tell me I have cancer.
I do seem to have less pain right now from the compression fractures. Removing the fluid helped with the pressure. There was not really that much fluid. It makes me suspicious about what is going on.
I have so many upcoming doctor's appointments that I need help keeping them straight.
Thanks for being here, DU. I have a couple of helpful friends and a home health aide. My husband is great, although he gets impatient from time to time.
