Some good news. After years of diagnosis questions, starting with

"wild, stubborn and unfocused" because oppositional defiance didn't have a name yet, then depression and anxiety because bipolar 2 didn't have a name yet, I acquired another label.

I am "delightful," and while very dependent and still bipolar, not also borderline.

Now if only there were meds that actually touched what's going on in my brain. Therapy will have to sort the rest.

As far as I know, Bipolar can be treated. Borderline can not. The key with Bipolar is to take meds religiously, as prescribed. A Borderline won’t take meds. They don’t think that there’s really anything wrong with them.

I wish you well.

As far as the med train goes, I know how difficult that can be. I feel like I have taken the entire pharmacy to get to where I am at today. I was not sure I would make it but I did.

I sincerely hope you can find the right meds and that the therapy continues to help.

Do you have a good Psychiatrist? Have they exhausted the search for the right meds?
