I just need to vent

To the one who got away. I'm glad you were able to find someone. But I'm not sorry for having a set standard when it comes to people. First impressions are everything to me and when the impression is to blow off a date to go to a bar and have fun. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth as you do not care.

While I can't fault you for having fun, you also have to remember that actions speak louder than words. Saying sorry is fine, but you have to show you mean it and when you don't in the last 5 months. I assume you're not as caring as I once believed you were.

So unfriend and block me like you did. Goes to show what you really are deep down. Am I Disappointed? Very much. Angry? Na...no need for unnecessary anger.

Rant over.

I'm just remarkably disappointed that we couldn't remain friends at least. She moved on and didn't even keep in contact afterwards. I felt I was more than likely a potential one night stand and that was it.

Don't judge it now. Wait 5 years to see if you are in a better place or not. I've done 22 years of living alone compared to 13 years of living with. It was all worth it now. Not looking, I found the best partner ever. Taking our time and have now lived together for almost 5 years.
There is a lid for every pot.

Good luck
