I just wish someone could hold me and tell me its gonna be okay.
Im freaking out over my dumb mistake of getting the shitty booster for covid 19.
I put my mom in the ground yesterday and now Im bawling my eyes out feeling like a idiot.
The side effects of my booster shot is miserable,my legs hurt with muscle pains. The long bones in my calves.felt like shit all day. I guess I deserve it for not thinking when I got my booster.
I just want to sleep and its taking forever for my meds to kick in.
Not suicidal just miserable.

(704 posts)I'm so sorry about your loss of your mom.
The covid booster's side effects will wear off very soon. Hopefully within 2 days your physical pain will be gone.
You will be feeling better soon, for sure.

(121,224 posts)You're certainly not an idiot to be crying.
The effects of the covid booster will wear off in a couple of days and you'll be fine - getting it was not a mistake. Hang in there, it will be OK.

(12,232 posts)Im on chemo, and when they give me my Neulasta shot to build my immunity, they put me on Claritin for 5 days. They said it helps with the bone pain cause by the Neulasta building my immunity. White blood cells are generated in the bone marrow. It does help with my pain.
Sorry to hear about your mother. Shell always be with you in your heart and memories.

(12,952 posts)But I have regret for getting the jand j booster and not moderna. I cant get it out of my head. I told myself whats done is done. But it still churns in my thoughts regardless.
I live alone and the future scares me. And right now Im stuck where i am at. Have developed an aversion for going outside.
I think the isolation is taking its toll, and I have very few freinds that could come over and just hang out.
When I lost my house and moved around until I moved in here, by time I moved back here my social support system was lost.
That's why I dont have many friends people move, lose contact whatever..

(39,004 posts)... getting up only to pee and feed the pets until I worked things out in my head.
That's living. Better than the alternative.
This was a radical concept for a guy like me who always quits eating as well when I'm in the dumps.
Thus far I've always worked things out in my head soon enough to eat, but sometimes it's taken a few days to reboot.
The last time it was taking weeks to reboot I landed in the psych ward. Oh well.
During the reboots it makes me crazy that wife, friends, and family simply don't throw mama off the train. Goodbye Hunter, sucked to know you.
Somewhere in my misspent youth I learned how to build strong social safety nets for myself. I honestly don't know how that happened.
