Anyone else easily overwhelmed?

I used to be able to multi task and juggle multiple things. Not sure if it's medicine-related. I was struggling over paperwork earlier.

Anyone else easily overwhelmed or worry how they'll handle things?

My therapist, my sisters and a few others, seems to be a thing going around. Sounds like a collective thing after several years of anxiety, non stop.

I'm gonna blame it on Pluto slowing down to turn around in a few weeks. Once it starts going the right way again, in August, thing should start to pick up. That's my claim and I'm stickin' to it.

With Pluto turning, things should change in a few weeks. I am too much of a pessimist I suppose, but he says it is so.

There's something to it, can't explain it, but I've been observing for decades, there are patterns observable patterns over time.

Keeping all the balls in the air rather than some falling to the earth, causing more problems.

It's not monetary in my case, I can handle that part, but age and lack of energy to keep plugging on and accomplishing basic activities of daily living.
I need more sleep and rest.
Thank God for two of my children who come through for me and assist with chores as needed.

You’re just overwhelmed, period. Many of us are. We have all been through so many threatening— even life threatening — situations the past several years. Things that overwhelm even the strongest person.

Congratulate yourself on surviving the onslaught. Treat yourself well. Tell yourself you’re human and it is human to sometimes feel overwhelmed.

You would have to have been superhuman NOT to feel overwhelmed after all that has happened recently. I am sure you’ve had other life issues unrelated to the pandemic, the insurrection, and the rise of fascism we’re seeing in this country.

I hope you’re feeling the support and connection of your friends at DU. Please consider me one of them. We are all in this together.
