Mental Health Support
Related: About this forumHas anyone here tried TMS therapy?
It's offered at my local mental health center. I'm on Venlafaxine right now. I've been taking it for a long time and it isn't helping as much as it use to.

(2,140 posts)Which is CES, so maybe it's kind of similar. I think that and hypnosis recordings from a site called Minds in Unison have really helped me. I don't know which one it is or if it's both together, because I started them at about the same time and I'm not about to stop one as an experiment to see which one it is or is it both. Since I can do them both at the same time anyway.

(1,361 posts)He has long term anxiety and depression exacerbated now with Parkinson's.
Basically, agoraphobia and depression. Nothing has worked. Prior to pandemic he was able to go outside, drive, etc.
Now he won't leave the house. Multiple meds have been tried. He got a second opinion from a new psychiatrist
who recommended TMS therapy. He's agreed to it. First, session is in 3 weeks. The only issue is getting him out of
the house to do it.
Anyone with any personal info about this would be helpful.
The doc said he will treat both sides of the brain.
Any thoughts?
