That is how f**ked up this entire thing is. They have gotten my application for supplementary income wrong for fourth time. They have put that we own the home. We don't. this is going to make the people assessing my request to believe that we own this place. They are going to tell me to f**k off for the second time in ten years because they cannot keep their information straight from one person to the next.

And people wonder why I am such a cynic...

What burns me the most is that all of this does not have to happen, but the powers that be want it to. I cannot see another explanation for this. They just do not want to pay out because that lessens the amount they will eventually be able to raid for themselves and their cronies. Those leeches have been drooling over the SS pot for a long time. They don't want to lose any of it before they can make their grab and destroy the concept in the process. (After all, they don't want anyone retiring or going on disability. They want us to work until we drop making them richer and then they will toss us onto the trash pile out back and go grab another warm body to exploit. I am disgusted with all of it.

3. Also, I am not sure which upsets me more...

The department's inability to keep my information straight through four different times I said the exact same thing, or the fact that my hired attorney is saying I should go talk to someone else to find justice. Any bets on what she will say if I actually get any money? Because I do not feel like she has done very much and therefore I don't feel she has earned much of anything. But, I had to sign a piece of paper to get her to take the case, and therefore I probably will owe her most of what I get even though she did not do the work to get it. I don't know... I cannot handle this shit right now and I guess my failing cognitive abilities are inadequate to work this out. (Which is why I wanted a lawyer in the first place.)

5. Technically, they approved SSI.

Now they are assessing what they are going to give me. Once they see the erroneous information on this latest report, I have little doubt that they will change their minds or it will affect their decision to the point where what they offer will be a joke. Yes, I am freaking out over this. I have been struggling for years to find some help for us, and all I have gotten is a shake of the head and a 'tsk tsk' sound. Man, is is sure nice to know that all I have done over the decades amounts to nothing. There is some real incentive to keep breathing, eh?
