Anyone have any experience with shedding deep rage? Trying to clear out this Inner stuff...

It's all GUNK.

I realize that my sinus infection has been a shedding of so much GUNK from my inner self as well as my body. Also, I think being sick is a huge defense mechanism for me...cuz when I'm sick I get sympathy/caretaking/etc and nobody can be "mean" to me (yeah...parental crap)...

So as part of this level of healing, I am trying to really take mySELF back in terms of just being in control of my emotions, and dealing with the stuff I have shoved inside and down deep till it turnes to GUNK and gums up my LIFE.

I started Acupuncture last week, it has really given me some tools as well, like foods that were compounding the issues. Interestingly enough, my "liver" meridian is really gummed up and very tender. Well, I did "just" get sober 10/2023 and guess what..."liver" is also where we hold ANGER.
Well, as someone who has suffered abuse most of my life, i think there's a LOT of residual anger...at myself and those who did what they did to make it worse...

And while sometimes it bubbles out (usually abruptly, at the wrong people) it is really deep in there.
So I am doing some searching today for self-hypnosis for anger release, meditation for peace/anger, somatic yoga etc.

Just wondering if anyone has experience releasing deep and repressed emotional stuff...?

Walk laps at a high school or community college track...

Consider whittling...

Soap or soft sticks... It's mindless but restful...

I have balance issues, so walking the track is also protection... Someone is usually around if I have issues... 🤣🤣🤣

Epsom salts can be ordered online + a warm soaks will help wash the worries away...

Let's not forget the wonders of pets... Our animal shelter had a "kitty" room where folks could come + socialize kittens...
Snuggling w/ those little bits of fur was a great release...

Please take care...

I have 2 cats who often snuggle me and it's intresting to see where on my body they choose to lay, soaking up the energy and giving the love vibrations that they do

I actually work on wood as a hobby...I make wands etc from crystals and wrap them with wire and then make feather strings, sometimes with little bells... it's fun. I usually do it as a special order thing. Haven't had any in a while, though there are sticks literally EVERYWHERE on my deck, in the living room, the back seat of the car lmao

Definitely need a good soak. I've got the salts and bbbles and the dr teals with lavender The tub will get scrubbed this week, bbut I can't do it right now. I'm still getting over the sinus infection from HELL, literally this is the first day my face hasn't hurt! (Since Feb 1!!!)

Thanks for the advice and well wishes. My little DU Family is always such a safe space

I usually try to exorcise that stuff through my expression. My last CD is fulled with it. Heh.
