Seeing the jaw md today

I'm so tired of dealing with this. Going to finally see an MD today. Nervous about what might be said. Like, yeah you've been injured and itll cost all this money for treatment.

Ben practicing my speech of what happened. I'm paying for this out of pocket. Any further treatment would have to be w Medicare providers. Really nervous.

Write it down. Read it, or use it as a guide, when you talk to the doc. Then, give him or her a copy of it. I finally did that with my primary. She was quite rude to me on one of my recent visits. I had my husband with me, and he agreed. When I came back with a reference and summary of everything that has been going on with my back, with my breathing problems and the lousy care I have been getting from not one, but two pulmonologists, she listened and was a lot nicer. My husband was with me then as well. She kept the copy of the things I had written down and scanned them into my chart.

Also, when I saw the nurse practitioner at the pain clinic, I had him type out a summary of our visit and give me a copy. He was great. I had the summary just in case I need it. I might not remember everything, or I might not recap it well if anyone asks me. I will give a copy of this to my primary as well.

Good luck to you. This jaw business has been going on for too long. Please give us an update.
