I don't take those drugs, so I can't compare experiences with you.

You DO have my sympathy and full support in this matter.

about cutting costs that they only have a barebones supply of those meds.

Thanks, and I'm glad you had a great time with DFW and MrsDFW!

And had to get it refilled while on vacation. They didn’t have it, but got it within two days. They also asked if I was going to be there the next time I needed it refilled, because they would order it beforehand. (I wasn’t.) And this was Florida. I couldn’t believe it, because my own pharmacy often doesn’t have my medication on hand, and I have been refilling it like clockwork for years.
I think it’s time to change pharmacies if you are able. I pulled out of Rite Aid due to a similar circumstance.

These drugs aren't that commonly used anymore but I would think most pharmacies could get them in faster than that. The dept store pharmacy I use has deliveries every day.

CVS and Walgreens typically can order any medication in 1 to 2 days. Also they can check the stock of other nearby pharmacies in their chain. Only time I've had trouble is with controlled substances, where there are legal restrictions on how much they can keep on hand.
