How are you all coping with your anxiety?

I was doing so well with my own anxiety that I thought I was ready to stop therapy, but I may need to go back into group when this is all over. One moment I'm serene and then the next moment I'm certain of becoming a casualty. What are you doing to get by?

Work was getting crazy and I truly needed a day away. I had plans to meet a friend for brunch and the place is closed. Then, I was supposed to go hiking, but we are in the middle of a snowstorm. Lastly, was meeting another friend for happy hour but that place is closed, too. So, I've decided to spend it in bed with the doggos bingeing Netflix (which is what I really wanted to do in the first place). Napping and watching mindless shows is the best help with stress for me. I'm such an introvert.

I'm a retired RN. So I know what's up and pretty much what to expect. This is my "rational" side.

But I can be irrational too, and that's when the mental shake comes in.

Otherwise, I'm reading old books, taking photos or processing them, posting them too! Music streams over my computer and I love that!

So far, I'm OK.

But, when every thing is fine, my mind has dark thoughts. Go figure.
