I'm at 40 weeks. Still loving my e-cigarette. My only issue is that I get "vaper's tongue" an inability to taste the juice flavor. I discovered a wonderful remedy - my good old Net pot! Apparently, clogged nasal passages were blocking me up (smell is a huge part of taste). I use it once a day and have great relief.
Family coming for Thanksgiving and I no longer have to worry about airing everything out! Yay!
And I'm losing weight. Get that? I quit smoking, and I'm losing rather than gaining. Finally getting rid of the weight I gained when I tried to quit with hypnosis several years ago.

(146,218 posts)I am nicotine free and feel completely liberated.
I also lost some weight, I think because I increased my activity a bit.
Still get cravings at times, particularly after dinner, but they pass and I couldn't be happier.
Big congratulations to you, PennyK!

(994 posts)But I do vape. Low levels though 3-6mg. My cough stopped during the first week and I can be much more active now. I'm done with them for good this time. I guess when the shithead Dems finally ban vaping or tax it so much that it's prohibitively expensive, I'll have to stop that too. A lot of people will just go back to smoking. Go Blue Team!

(2,314 posts)And I saw many more smoking than vaping. Someone suggested that if enough folks keep on with the cancer sticks, perhaps we'll be left alone.
This was the first time I visited with my family and didn't have to take extraordinary precautions to keep my stinky habit from bothering everyone else. Heaven!

(12 posts)To tell the truth, I smoke off and on.
I understand that its a nasty habit. And I dont like the smell of smoke.
I put down the use of tobacco for 1-3 cigarettes per day. When I have a really hard day I smoke at evening to relax.
I dont want to use an e-cigarette. Im afraid that it will heighten my interest to smoking process.
