Didn't know this group existed

I personally am a low carber... just was interested in doing an informal survey of what types of things you are doing to lose weight.

I too try to watch my carb intake and I also eat a lot of protein. I have issues with malabsorption and at times malnutrition so I really have to be careful.

but gained about 15 back... trying to get back on the ball lately.

I have never actually "cheated" per se, in the sense that I haven't eaten any high carb foods since I started, but sometimes I eat too much foods that I need to restrict. Especially nuts and cheese.

Still, overall, my health has improved tremendously.

I became a gym rat at 47, following a diet plan set up by a dietician, and exercising as much as possible. Had a great Friday night ride of about 19 miles. Gonna do it again tonight. Open trails, starlit skies = freedom.
