I have an instacart delivery account, but that company is treating their contract shoppers poorly.
I am looking for another company & since I live not very far from a Krogers, I'd like to know if Kroger delivery treats their people well?
Thx.

(7,309 posts)For special impromptu meals when I need something quick, or if ivebeen drinking, I use Instacart at Publix. Also, Instacart at Publix for produce. Wallyworld produce is horrible.

is quite responsive. Supposedly if you order from a Target store through them, you get the on-the-shelf prices.
I used them a lot when I was sick for about 2 months, but I haven't recently because I can walk to the grocery store (I do that for exercise, and I don't have a car for a variety of reasons). $99 / year (free for 14 days) or $12/month (also free for 14 days) .
ETA - I walk to the grocery store, about 2 1/2 miles. Then I take the bus back -- no way could I walk with $100 worth of groceries for 2 1/2 miles. But the bus stop is 2/3 mile from home, so I do have to walk that 2/3 mile with 3 to 5 tote bags full of groceries plus a backpack full of them. Good exercise, but its pushing my maximum endurance limits.

(27,320 posts)I go into the store. For one thing, I want to select my own groceries, whether veggies, fruits, meat, whatever. I want to eyeball it myself.
