(39,057 posts)Plus it's a big facility, too. Over 2,000 square feet, which is big for a coffee shop. They are making quite an investment in that area.

Now, toasted everything bagel, w butter, and iced decaf, xtra cream.

Cold mint tea.

Between the oppressive heat, and worrying about Dad and Al,, I haven't had much enthusiasm for food lately. That's why I haven't been around much.
We had some rain come through in the last couple of days, and I managed to muster enough ambition to make a real dinner. That's why I had leftover rice to work with.
Dad's b-day party tomorrow, so today I have to bake a cake. I usually enjoy baking so let's hope it stays cool enough for me to enjoy it today.

(32,764 posts)hot now for the past couple weeks and no break for next week either. We are worried the heat will burn up our garden. We may get some much needed rain overnight tonight. Fingers crossed 🤞.
