Probably be staying indoors most of the day. We're in a terrible heatwave here in Indiana.

Good Morning 🌞

We're out of eggs.

I added some red raspberry preserves to the oatmeal.

Coffee

I haven't been around much lately, and I'm sorry about that. Al's medical issues keep snowballing.

Most recently:

Al's urologist says that recent PSA tests and an MRI indicated that his prostate cancer may not be as benign as we were hoping. We now have referrals to a radiation oncologist and a surgical urologist to learn more about the different options.

AND

He has developed a blockage in the vascular system of the retina in his left eye. (The lower visual field of his left eye has gone and stayed blurry.) More testing today to determine IF this can be treated or not--which depends on the cause. If it's diabetes related, he may get some of that vision back. If it's glaucoma related, it's likely that he won't.

On top of all this, we're doing our best to get to the nursing home every week to see Dad.

Anyway, iris, as I see September creeping up on us, I look forward to your usual musical offerings.
