I'll bet the rest of you are hard at work with your traditional dishes like pies, turkey, etc.
I'm making tempura vegetables in my air fryer tonight. Red and green pepper strips, Brussels sprouts, onion rings.
Shrimp stuffed salmon, miso glazed.
Tomorrow the big part of my day is working outside because it's the only day I can ever get with no leafblowers blasting away and ruining my nice time. I do this every year. However, it might rain but it's off and on so I can work around it. I still get TG invites but this day is so important to me that I just can't say yes.
Dessert: chocolate pie and caramel vanilla tea.

The Landlady and two of her friends/colleagues are prepping to be in the Macy's Parade tomorrow. They'll be the Peanuts characters on the float. It's actually hard work so they want to load up.
I'm making it very simple. Green salad with red onion rings, black olives, cucumbers slices and garlic croutons with a splash of pine nuts topped with Italian dressing.
Garlic bread.
Spaghetti with homemade marinara sauce topped with freshly grated Romano cheese. Salt & pepper and red pepper flakes to taste.
Chianti.
Chocolate birthday cake for one of the ladies.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
