Turkey wild rice soup. I'm finishing it up later this afternoon. It will have mushrooms (maybe Portobello, not sure yet), celery from garden, leeks, carrots, possibly a rutabaga if I can find a good one.
Cornbread muffin, toasted.
Ginger turmeric kombucha.

(30,322 posts)Not big on gambling myself, I lost $30, Loretta won $73 and our neighbors won little over $300. We ended up at Applebee's had had cheeseburgers.
Roasted garlic bagel chips with spicy hummus for a starter.
Salad of spinach with garden veggies topped with shredded turkey and a deviled egg. I guess I'll put Hidden Valley Ranch on it although there are other options in the 'frig.
I might treat myself to a Klondike bar afterwards.

(997 posts)Finely sliced cabbage as the base. Combined with finely chopped red bell pepper, red onion, celery, Macintosh apple and shredded carrot. Then I added some chopped spinach and smoked tofu. It was dressed with homemade apple cider vinaigrette. Toasted baguette slices with apple butter. Iced sparkling apple juice that I watered down because it was too sweet. Cheers! 🥂

(19,181 posts)I made a big pot. I didn't cook the Thanksgiving dinner this year. I got some leftover turkey, not much. Not complaining. The soup will last me several days. A lot healthier than mass quantities of cheesecake
