What's for Dinner, Sat., May 16, 2026

When I made Chicken Cordon Bleu, I made two rolled chicken breasts, so tonight I'll be having the second one.

Tossed green salad with romaine, oak leaf, and spinach. Cherry tomatoes, homegrown celery, and sliced green onion. I'm mixing herbs into this salad: mostly oregano and parsley.
Caesar dressing.

Ginger kombucha.

Dessert: Too much talk about strawberries on the breakfast thread, so now I'm going to stop by the store for some organic strawberries and vanilla ice cream on my way home from the community garden.

Carolina style barbecue sauce (heavy on mustard and vinegar) slathered on lavash flat bread loaded with vegan ham, sliced tomatoes, red onion, vegan cheddar, fresh avocado, and field greens before wrapping it up. Cheers!🥂

My biorhythm is telling me that my days are 28-30 hours long. I've lost all sense of time so who knows when I'm waking up or what meal I'll be having.

Suffice to say that I made scrambled tofu and blueberry bagels at midnight on a Saturday.

It was delicious. I will now climb in bed and read a trashy novel until the sun comes up. 🙃
