I live in New Orleans and Boston Fern has run wild in my sideyard. Our zone is almost tropical so ferns and other plants, that should be annuals, actually function as perennials here. Every 5 or 6 years we will get a cold spell that will kill the foliage on the ferns but they always come back. They have formed a sort of ground cover in the sideyard. I love them.

After looking online. I think it's a Cinnamon Fern. Thanks for the NO update. I had no idea they grow all year in the south.

It's out by the driveway. My window views are .. meh, nothing special. Nice to see your post, btw. The What's for Dinner? lady. My dinners are too monotonous to bother with anymore.
