(24,255 posts)4. Ah, the pink ones! We have white ones here in the yard, the pink ones are still in the Country w/ my sister's place.
We try and spread them (the peonies) around, to ensure that we always have them around. My dad got them from a nursery in southern MO years ago, the nursery had dated them from the 1860s, so lots of history, and we've had an issue of people trying to steal them from our old homesteads (they're hybrids you don't see very often).
Pink and white here, spread around, near neighbor's house and along path bordering river, hidden from public, 3+ miles off road.
Neighbor's family been here for many (70?) years.
