also known as Wine raspberry, Japanese wineberry, Purple-leaf blackberry, Hairy bramble,

I bet you know them as Dewberries.

It does trees and houseplants, too. I use it to "collect" plants I might want to get for my garden.

My wild blackberry bush just finished blooming last week and I’m keeping an eye out for berries. Usually the deer get them but I am determined to make some cobbler this year!

I knew where all the wild strawberries were. I picked a lot of them, then I bought some tame strawberries, bought some frozen strawberries, bought 2 packs of frozen Daiquiri mix, bought 6 grapefruits.

Mixed up all of the above, put it in a 10 gallon container, (now the trick that amateurs don't do) boiled my sugar in water until the liquid became clear, when it formed a compound. Bought wine yeast and something I can't remember now that makes the yeast work, from a local grocery store. Pectin tablets for purification and clarity.

I ended up with once in a lifetime strawberry wine that came out tangy, not sweet, because of the Daiquiri mix and grapefruits.

People wanted to buy it from me but instead I used it to bribe my friends for favors.

10. That sounds deliciously awesome. Big Daiquiri fan. Try to enjoy on the very hottest days of summer.
