.... then if a snow/cold snap comes the plant can't shut back down into hibernate. Wait a month then fert when no chance of freeze/snow, start with a mild/weak solution.

Crocus up, and daffodil greens, and CAMELLIAS opening! (Calvert County.)

I/we don't fertilize, I don't at least, and don't think my neighbors do either.
