Friday's Shadow Tails * Her History with Democratic Underground * Chapter 9 * Conclusion.
Hello. This is the last chapter of Shadow's history with DU, a collection of her
pictures over the last five years. We'll keep on going each Friday with regular
postings, newer and older photos.
When we first moved into the new house Shadow made space for herself
wherever she could.
Laurie bought her a new doggy bed and she took to it right away.
Shadow does have her low energy, down days.
But they don't last long before she re-energizes.
She likes lying down under the bed.
And often takes naps there.
She loves to lie on her porch.
We have gone for walks in nearby woods, where she's in her element.
I called to her the other day. Shadow squeezed under a corral panel,
trotted to the porch,
and bounded up the steps.
Out in the yard she delights in chasing birds. Though she never catches them.
Even as she used to chase birds at the old farm ~ and never caught a one.
We've seen her as a pup ~
An athletic young puppydog ~
And as a full-grown good girl.
We hope you have had fun looking back over Shadow's Tails at DU.
I have said it before ~ this caring community has been kind and
welcoming to her. She and I are grateful.
