I was forewarned by the yakking sounds, so I knew to look when I entered the hallway. I blame hairballs here. I guess I’ll have to get a good medicine for that. All three cats are shedding like nobody’s business.

5. Believe it or not, My 18 year old cat rushes to his litter box when he needs to vomit.

I didn't teach him, he just started doing this on his own.

The boy is a treasure.

7. Ours usually rush from the tile floor in the kitchen...

...to one of the Persian rugs.

One of them once managed to aim for the floor heat vent in the kitchen and complete the act before we could get to her.

6. My wife and I called that "a visit from the puke-fairy"... eww...

Nothing gets me out of bed faster than hearing the sound of a cat puking. They usually find the worst place to do it too!

8. Not sure which is worse when you are barefoot.

Old and cold, or fresh and warm.

9. That horking sound at night usually wakes me up

and alerts me to the possibility that on the way to the bathroom in the dark I might step in puke with a bare foot. Eww. I'm not sure whether it's worse to step in warm cat puke or cold cat puke.

10. My cats seem to know every route I take around the apartment. They always make their

deposits where I am certain to find them with my feet.
